Pathway to Becoming an SSI Professional
If you are considering becoming an SSI Professional here are the courses you will need to take, assuming you are already Open Water certified. However, courses are not the only requirement. You will must have a minimum number of logged dives to complete the professional-level courses. The minimum number to complete the course will be in parenthesis after the course title. Science of Diving
In this course, you will learn about the physics, physiology, oceanography, decompression theory, and total diving system, all associated with scuba diving. The Science of Diving Specialty course is scheduled as needed, call for dates. The course fee, including digital training materials: $150.00
Divemaster
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the Divemaster program. Working closely with an Instructor, you'll hone your skills to the professional level. Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities and qualifies you to supervise dive activities with certified divers. The Divemaster course is scheduled as needed, call for dates. The course fee, including the digital training material: $915.00.
Open Water Scuba Instructor
(100 logged dives) With this certification, you will be able to teach many different scuba courses. The Instructor course is scheduled as needed, call for dates. The course fee, including digital training materials: $1450.00. The fee does not include the Instructor Evaluation.
