George Tirado - Divemaster

Being born and raised in Puerto Rico offered me many opportunities to be around water. When was 15, my mom sent my brother and I to a summer camp in Vieques, a small island off the east coast of Puerto Rico.

It was there that I first experienced Scuba diving and I’ve been diving ever since. My son has followed in my footsteps and was recently Open Water Certified.

I’ve dived in Puerto Rico and adjoining islands in the area, Cozumel, the Cenotes in Mexico as well as local dive spots in the Chicagoland area. I especially enjoy working with students and traveling.
