Mike Chabalowski
IDC Staff Instructor
I’m a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor at Sea Level Diving. I received my Open Water Diver certification in 2003 and all I can say is that I wish I did it sooner. The underwater world is something that can’t be described in mere words. It’s something that has to be experienced first-hand. From the moment of my very first underwater breaths, I knew I was hooked.
I dive every chance I get. I enjoy local dive spots, as well as traveling to exotic dive destinations throughout the Caribbean such as, Cozumel, Bonaire, Turks & Caicos, Caymans Islands and hopefully, coming soon to a logbook near me, Palau. My passion for diving has led me down the path to capturing this mind-blowing underwater world through underwater photography and videography.
As an IDC Staff Instructor, I teach courses from the initial Discover Scuba Diving up through the professional level courses of Divemaster and Assistant Instructor. I also assist PADI Course Directors in teaching the Instructor Development Course, (IDC), preparing Divemasters and Assistant Instructors for their Instructor Exam.
