Welcome to Cathy’s Corner at Sea Level Diving
I’m Cathy Olson an MSDT, Medic First Aid/EFR, and DAN O2 instructor.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Sea Level Diving since 1999, first as a Dive Master and now as one of Sea Level’s staff instructors.
As a MSDT I am able to teach all PADI courses from
Discover SCUBA Diving through Dive Master.
I am also able to teach any of the following specialties:
Aware Coral Reef Conservation
Boat Diver
Deep Diver
Drift Diver
Multilevel Diver
Night Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Project Aware
Wreck Diver
Underwater Navigation
Underwater Photographer
Underwater Videographer
I am very interested in Wreck Diving and Underwater Photography; I would also like to get into Cave Diving. I love to look for the small creatures living on the reefs and am fascinated by sharks. From one extreme to the other it all fascinates me. I have the privilege of diving in the Oceanarium at Shedd Aquarium once a week helping to care for the dolphins and whales, occasionally the otters and penguins too.
Travel has always been a passion of mine and I’ve been fortunate to visit many countries in the Caribbean and the country of Palau in Micronesia (Palau is one of my favorites!).
I’ve been diving in the Bahamas, Belize, Roatan, Curacao, Turks and Caicos, North Carolina, Florida Keys and looking forward to, with great anticipation, the trip to the Galapagos Islands in June of 2004.
