This class is great for all open water divers that want to learn about adding helium to help diminish the effects of nitrogen.

Have you ever had the “worn out” feeling after a day of multiple dives. It could be from the effects of nitrogen build up in your tissues. Adding helium to the gas that you are diving takes out some of the nitrogen percentage therefore making you feel more refreshed.

IANTD was the first agency to offer enriched air (nitrox) as a alternative to diving with just air. The benefits were proven and the other agencies joined the philosophy. Now enriched air is a common gas offered worldwide.

Advanced recreational trimix is also an alternative option that divers can be trained in. If your path is to dive some of the deep wrecks or other sites that are beyond recreational limits, then this is where you start .
