If you purchase your SCUBA equipment over the internet you may not have any warranty!!

Don’t be fooled by mail order or internet companies. If you purchase your equipment other than in a retail store most manufacturer will not honor the warranty. Some mail order companies offer their own warranty but they don’t have the world wide support that manufacturer can offer. Aqua lung, SeaQuest and ScubaPro as well as many other manufacturers offer a limited lifetime warranty on their regulators. This warranty entitles you to free replacement parts for the life of the regulator when you have it serviced annually. Without this warranty you’ll pay an average of $50.00 for these parts, and over 10 years you’ll spend $500.00 on part you should have received free! So much for that discount you got by buying online. If you’re considering buy online go to the manufacturers web site and read their policy on mail order and internet sales, it could save you a lot of money!

Aqua Lung and SeaQuest Warranty

Beware of any retailer that offers to sell and ship our life supporting products by mail, for orders placed by phone or the Internet. These retailers are NOT authorized Aqua Lung Dealers. All authorized Aqua Lung Dealers must execute a Dealer Agreement that does not allow the sale of Aqua Lung products except "in-store." Many Aqua Lung dealers advertise on the Internet, but they are not allowed to deliver our products other than "over-the counter." This is our assurance that you will receive the proper pre-sale, point-of-sale, and post-sale assistance, and that only trained and certified divers will use our products. If you obtain our product from one of these retailers, your warranty is therefore not valid and we cannot offer you the assurances of quality and satisfaction afforded by the Aqua Lung Warranty Program. ScubaPro and Uwatec Warranty

SCUBAPRO/UWATEC equipment purchased from sources other than SCUBAPRO/UWATEC authorized dealers does not carry the SCUBAPRO/UWATEC Limited Lifetime/Limited Warranty. SCUBAPRO/UWATEC authorized dealers are only authorized to sell SCUBAPRO/UWATEC equipment over the counter at their retail location. If you find a mail order or Internet dealer selling SCUBAPRO/UWATEC equipment, you should contact SCUBAPRO/UWATEC to determine if you are dealing with an authorized SCUBAPRO/UWATEC dealer.

If you have already purchased from a source other than an authorized SCUBAPRO/UWATEC dealer, we would strongly recommend that you take your equipment to an authorized SCUBAPRO/UWATEC dealer to have it inspected to be sure that it is in operating condition and that it is performing to SCUBAPRO/UWATEC specifications. We would also advise you to follow the SCUBAPRO/UWATEC recommended service and maintenance guidelines for your product. Some retailers will offer their own warranties on our product. You may wish to contact the source from which you obtained your product to see what recourse you have concerning warranty issues.
